Senior Project Manager (m/f/d)

B.IT Solutions steers complex IT projects, stabilizes critical initiatives, and delivers defined outcomes. To strengthen our team, we are looking for an experienced Project Manager who takes responsibility for demanding client projects and drives them to success using our PRIME methodology.

Your Responsibilities

  • Autonomous steering of complex IT projects and programs for our clients in mid-market and enterprise organizations
  • Planning, execution, and controlling of projects using the PRIME/TIME methodology with defined outcomes and fixed-price model
  • Stakeholder management at C-level and steering of cross-functional project teams
  • Risk identification and management, escalation handling, and proactive problem resolution
  • Turnaround management for distressed projects: root cause analysis, stabilization of critical paths, realignment
  • Preparation of decision papers, status reports, and steering dashboards for executive management
  • Support of AI transformation projects: readiness analyses, implementation, and change management
  • Active contribution to the development and refinement of the PRIME methodology and internal processes

Your Profile

  • Minimum 8 years of professional experience in IT project management, including at least 3 years of autonomous leadership of complex projects
  • Proven track record in steering projects with budgets of EUR 500,000 and above
  • Certification in PRINCE2 (Practitioner), PMP, or equivalent; ITIL knowledge is a plus
  • Experience in at least two of the following industries: Banking & Insurance, Automotive, Pharma, Public Sector, Manufacturing
  • Confident presence in front of C-level decision-makers and the ability to communicate complex matters clearly and in a structured manner
  • Experience with turnaround and recovery situations is a significant advantage
  • Understanding of AI technologies and their application potential in enterprise contexts is desirable
  • Business-fluent German and English, both written and spoken
  • Willingness to travel within the DACH region (approx. 40–60%, project-dependent)
